Francois Montand Brut Blanc des Blancs NV

Description:

François Montand, descendant of a long line of winemakers, grew up on his family’s vineyard in Champagne. Fascinated from an early age by wine, he became one of the most influential wine merchants in the region. During the German Occupation during WWII he moved his family to Jura Thanks to his expertise from Champagne, he produced sparkling wines rich in flavor made according to the traditional bottle double fermentation method.

Taste Notes:

A bouquet of intense aroma of white flowers and citrus fruit. Creamy and smooth on the palate with lingering aromas of freshly baked bread, golden delicious apples and Meyer lemons – harmonious balance. A great way to start any meal, and it’s a fine accompaniment for ceviche, salads, and white fish in white sauce or simply for dessert.

La Crema Chardonnay 2013

Description:

No stranger on the New Orleans wine scene, La Crema has been a standby in the region for years. Fruit for this wine was hand-selected from cool estate and grower vineyard sites within the Sonoma Coast boundaries – all within 30 miles of the Pacific Ocean. The resulting blend is a complex, layered wine, representing the spectrum of growing conditions found within the Sonoma Coast.

Taste Notes:

It embodies incredibly concentrated wines on the extreme coast, with ripened pear and melon notes reflective of the Russian River Valley, stone fruit and minerality of the Los Carneros region, and broader texture of the Chalk Hill. La Crema is a great Chardonnay for all of your summer seafood dishes.

Loca Linda Torrontes 2014

Description:

Loosely translated, Loca Linda means “crazy in a good way.” The same could be said for the winemaking philosophy of Brooklyn born owner Brian Smith and his wife Gina – despite the naysayers, they’ve found a way to produce a high-quality, expressive, handcrafted wine at an approachable price point.

Taste Notes:

This wine has an unmistakable spring-like nose resembling roses, star fruit, and honeysuckle. Primal on the palate it is crisp, bright and clean. Perfect with light fish or as an aperitif.

Jamieson Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Description:

Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is the southernmost winery in the Napa Valley, one of the world’s foremost winemaking regions. The estate’s more than 300 acres of gently rolling hills and terraced vineyards benefit from the cooling fog and breezes from the nearby San Pablo Bay. In June of 2014, Bill Leigon, who had joined Jamieson Ranch as President in 2013, named Juan Jose Winemaker at Jamieson Ranch Vineyards.

Taste Notes:

Classic Napa Valley aromas jump out of the glass with this expressive cabernet. Notes of anise, currant, and toasted walnuts on the nose complement the lusciously fruit forward palate and voluminous mouthfeel. Rich black cherry and leather reflect the terroir, with integrated and deep oak tannins reflecting the influence of exceptional French Oak barrels. A lengthy finish completes this wine. Perfect for the biggest flavors on your plate.

Janasse Rose 2014

Description:

A 90 Hectare vineyard separated over 60 different plots leads to a heavily variegated group of terroirs. The vines are grown without pesticides or insecticides and manure is natural. The land is worked without herbicide to maintain ventilation and flexibility to the soil. Father and son, Aime and Christophe, create this blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah with the same attention and care as their stunning Chateauneuf Du Papes.

Taste Notes:

The latest creation in the estate is a fruity, fresh and light wine, ideal as an aperitif.

Orin Swift Machete

Description:

David Swift Phinney established Orin Swift after a grueling season as a temporary harvest worker at Robert Mondavi Vineyards. Deciding that if he was going to work that hard he would be his own boss he set out to establish a winery with a little over two tons of zinfandel and now has over 300 acres in Southwest France and projects in several other countries.

Taste Notes:

An opaque, purple chroma is brilliantly on display in the glass. An alluring fragrance of bright floral notes, violet juxtaposed with intriguing mountain characteristics. The entry is big, dark, and brooding with concentrated berry flavors, black cherry, mocha, and delightful earthy, brambly notes. Soft and lush, the tannins are sublime which offsets a pleasing mineral finish. Try with a ribeye and garlic sautéed mushrooms.

Domaine Houchart Rose 2014

Description:

Clay and limestone soils, rough-textures, formed from the decomposition of the mother rock from the surrounding mountains, and steel tanking keep this rose blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah firmly settled in the Provence tradition.

Taste Notes:

A true Provencal rose with a medium deep color and noticeable pink fruit notes of grapefruit and blood orange. A light spiced cherry not clings to the palate through the lingering finish. Pair with grilled salmon or even fried chicken.

Wish Red Blend 2012

Description:

Wish Red Blend was created with pleasure and enjoyment in mind. Due to the blending process the fruit is well integrated and balanced with its structural components. Mature flavors are a clear indication that this wine is ready to drink. 26% Cabernet Sauvignon – 24% Merlot – 33% Zinfandel – 17% Syrah.

Taste Notes:

A big nose is followed by a pronounced boysenberry, Asian plum and black currant fruit presence on the palate. Medium high alcohol content and a medium finish lend to drinkability. Try with Teriyaki steak or plum sauce based Chinese cuisine.

Diora La Petit Grace Pinot Noir

Description:

Inspired by the golden hills that frame our San Bernabe Vineyard, the name Diora is adopted from the word D’or – meaning “golden”. Aged 10 months in French Oak the fruit from Block 202 of San Bernabe Vineyard’s carries a silky elegance and excellent structure.

Taste Notes:

Ripe red fruit with balanced acidity, high alcohol at 14.5%, but mild baking spice notes keep this wine expressively intense and well suited to pair with food. Great with sweet barbeque sauce basted pork ribs or wild mushrooms and truffle oil pizza.

Osmin La Vie En Rose

Description:

From Lionel Osmin et Cie comes a rose wine of the Négrette grape. Négrette is one of the best southwestern French grapes to produce rosé wines. A native variety mainly planted north of Toulouse, Osmin gave this wine a name that pays homage to the famous “Pink City”. Its pale and delicate color, its fruity style, expressive and its characteristic freshness make this a versatile and lively rosé wine.

Taste Notes:

A fruit forward nose of red berries and light candied strawberry gives way to a delicate and well-balanced minerality with notes of ripe strawberry. Pairs best with aperitifs, fresh tapas, tomato with mozzarella, Asian food, tomato dishes, grilled fish, pasta Bolognese.

Fuse Wine Cabernet Sauvignon

Description:

The philosophy for the Fuse Cabernet Sauvignon (made by Signorello Vineyards.) is to take the traditions of the ‘Old World’ style and give it a little ‘New World’ twist by adding Syrah. This medium-bodied wine will continue to improve over the next 8 years and is wonderfully drinkable now.

Taste Notes:

The nose expresses a combination of sweet cherry, blueberry, hints of vanilla and earthy undertones. On the palate, layers of cherry and blueberry are balanced with delicate notes of nutmeg and vanilla.

Ferrari Carano Bella Luce

Description:

Ferrari-Carano’s unique, white wine blend, the 2012 Bella Luce, means “beautiful light” in Italian. Bella Luce is a fragrant and light wine composed of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat Canelli. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation resulting in a refreshing acidity that is made from varieties that complement one another in aromas, flavors and texture.

Taste Notes:

Bella Luce has delicious layers of Muscat, honeydew, orange, lychee, pineapple, peach and apple, along with lingering cream, vanilla, lemon and a floral finish. The wine works well as an apéritif, or with shellfish, light pasta dishes, and light appetizers.

Domaine Roux Père & Fils Bourgogne Chardonnay 2014

Description:

100% Chardonnay has persistent aromas, including hazelnut, sugared chestnut, honey, butter, and spices. Enjoy with fish and shellfish, as well as soft and hard cheeses. From the Côte de Beaune, Côted” Or-region of Burgundy France, this Chardonnay is sustainably grown in a soil mixture of light grey marl and limestone with southeastern exposure. Fermentation is full malolactic in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days at 20 C. Aged 6-8 months then 1-3 in the bottle. 12.5% alcohol.

This Chardonnay has persistent aromas, including hazelnut, sugared chestnut, honey, butter, and spices.

Backsberg has been producing Chenin Blanc since the 1970s. Our Chenin Blanc has a refreshingly tropical nose and a fresh palate. Ripe pear, zesty apple and the smoothness of cashew, glide over your palate. Balanced acidity leaves a wonderful, lingering finish.

Pear, green apple and cashew provide an array of aromatic characters. Ripe fruit is tempered by finely balanced acidity to give a mouth filling, yet refreshing palate, which has a lingering finish.

Sables d’Azur Rosé 2015

Description:

Sables d’Azur blends of the best selection of Rosé wines from interior Valley of Provence and Sainte Victoire Terroir. These Côtes de Provence vineyards benefit fully from the Mediterranean climate: mild winters, early spring and moderate summers, when the sun’s continuous and beneficial rays ensure the vines produce fully mature grapes, oozing ripe juice. A dry fresh and clean rosé wine, with crispy acidity, and a wonderful souvenir of Provence.

Taste Notes:

Crispy and fresh mouth with a good balance between alcohol and acidity. A finish with sweet hints.
